Shelley Richards (RTO Administrator)

Shelley has extensive office experience and was the Manager of AITP from 2004 to June 2011. Now that she is working part time her responsibilities include all aspects of complying with AQTF2010 to maintain AITP as a Registered Training Organization (RTO). 

Shelley has been a member of AITD since 2004 and currently serves as the State President for the WA Divisional Council.

Dave Richards (Principal Consultant)

Dave returned to AITP in May 2011 – he has a degree in Occupational Safety and Health and a wealth of experience. Dave has operated in various OSH related management positions in oil/gas, mining and related industries in Australia and overseas.  

Melissa McCann (Business Manager)

Melissa has been with AITP since February 2009, and brought with her 6 years of RTO experience. Her main role is to ensure all operational functions are being performed to the highest of standards and to manage the accounting system.

Kymme Palandri-Jones (Office Administrator)

Kymme joined our team in Mar 2010 after years of working in other educational administration roles. It is Kymme's friendly face that greets you when you come to our offices.

Emily Postill (Trainee – Office Administration)

Emily works 1 day per week at AITP – gaining valuable experience towards her School Based Traineeship while also attending TAFE one day per week.

Ole Martinson (Training Consultant)

Ole is a highly experienced, motivated human development consultant, trainer and facilitator with a proven record of the development and delivery of effective industry skills training and practical management programs.  Ole has invented the ground breaking 7MasterKeys™ time-saving multi-media tool.  It automates the planning of quality training programs to any web-based benchmark and outputs complete program documentation sets. The software package was released at the Melbourne Trade Fair in April 2009. Ole is also a published author of futuristic fantasy and fiction.

Robert Bates (Assessor)

Rob holds a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety and is currently undertaking further study in the field through Edith Cowan University.
His ability to work across a wide range of people management issues underpinned by strong administrative skills, good verbal and written communication skills makes him an excellent Assessor.  Rob’s role is to assess the portfolios of evidence submitted to AITP for Diploma and/or Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.

David Daffen (Training Consultant)

Dave has extensive experience in OSH as a Safety Advisor. He has highly developed skills in operating mobile equipment and he is a Registered Assessor (Worksafe WA) for High Risk Work licensing

Alan Friswell (Training Consultant)

 Alan's areas of expertise in Occupational Health & Safety include Emergency and Risk Management; Confined Space Management; Working Safely at Heights and the Creation and review of Crisis Management plans.  Allan's excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills make him an asset to our team.

Clayton Taboni (Training Consultant)

Clayton has over 20 years of training and development and HR experience specialising in Change Management and Organisational Behaviour cross a diverse range of industries including the public and private sector, health, mining, finance, manufacturing and retail.     He has excellent interpersonal skills which allow him to build strong, sincere and lasting relationships His understanding and experiences within the areas of organisational behaviour, leadership development & change management make him a valuable development resource. 

Vince O'Connell (Training Consultant)

Vince has extensive experience in safety & training including safety audits; identifying hazards and assessing risks.  Vince is a Registered Assessor (Worksafe WA) in: Dogging (DG), Rigging (RB), CV & CN Crane, Work Platform (WP) and Forklift (LF).
