Interpersonal & Communication Skills

This course is delivered in 1 day.  It is offered as a public course @ $235.10pp (usually held at our Henderson offices) or a corporate course @ $1145.20 (plus materials cost per person) for a group of up to 20 people who all work for same organisation/at a venue of your choosing.



This course explores the dynamics of interpersonal relationships and communication skills to develop and practise strategies to be more effective interacting with others. 

Topics include active listening and effective questioning techniques, different communication styles and how this affects understanding, communication flow and barriers, causes of upset, responses and opportunities, aggressive, submissive or assertive practices, developing assertive practices, managing aggressive behaviour, effective requests, promising, counter-offering and renegotiating, seeking closure, giving and receiving feedback.

The ultimate goal of this course is for participants to create and commit to a personal action plan – a useful tool to use well after the course has concluded.
