Negotiation Skills
We offer a choice of 1 day or 2 day courses. The 2 day course covers the same topics in more depth and also offers the opportunity to practice the skills that are covered.

Both are offered as a public course @ $235.10/$444.60pp (usually held at our Henderson offices) or a corporate course @ $1145.20/$22897.31 plus materials cost per person (for a group of up to 20 people who all work for same organisation/at a venue of your choosing).


This course is run as a 1 day or a 2 day course.  Both explore the principles and techniques of successful negotiation and demonstrate the application of negotiation strategies to negotiate effectively in different situations. The 2 day course allows participants to apply their skills and observe the negotiations of others.

Topics addressed in both sessions include: important principles of negotiation, stages and techniques of successful negotiation, terms of agreement, researching client needs, strategies and tactics, negotiator styles and influence, dealing with conflict and deadlocks, effective non-verbal communication, body language and questioning techniques, planning and practicing skills, with the overall goal of applying negotiation skills to reach agreement and maintaining on-going relationships.

The 2 day session includes practical activities to identify preferred negotiation styles, preparing to negotiate and practising in one-on-one situations.
