Workplace Assessor

This qualification consists of 4 units of competence (TAEASS401A; TAEASS402A; TAEASS301A2) and is delivered over 3 days at AITP’s venue in Henderson, WA or in a workplace anywhere in Western Australia.. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to apply the skills and knowledge of these units in their workplace. In addition to completing the activities during the training course, candidates have work-based projects to complete before meeting the criteria of these units.

These units can be achieved by attending a training course, through the Skills Recognition (RPL) process OR a combination. Contact AITP for further information and to discuss the best approach for you and your organisation.

At the Certificate IV level these units qualify successful candidates to design simple assessment tools and resources, to conduct assessments and to participate in the validation of assessments.

Topics addressed in this course cover the components of the various stages in the assessment process, from consulting with the client to determine the purpose of assessment, creating assessment plans, briefing the assessment candidate, conducting assessment, reviewing the assessment, and validating the assessment process.

Candidates explore units of competence, learn the principles of assessment, the important concepts, explore what is evidence and how to collect appropriate evidence to determine one’s competency, develop assessment plans, create simple assessment tools, observe and conduct assessments, learn how to assess using the Skills Recognition process (RPL), and participate in a validation session.

The cost of this cluster is $950 per person or $875 per person when enrolling in all 3 clusters. (Minimum numbers apply)
